What facts have you heard?
I know that the DM's are meeting tomorrow & GM's are meeting on Wednesday. GM'S typically have meeting on Tuesday. No delegates are allowed and the meeting is at 8am vs our standard middle of the day meeting.
I've heard a wide range of things and I know I will find out on Wednesday but like everyone else I want to prepare myself. Cutting positions last year was tough and not something I'm looking forward to.
SO... what have you heard?
Operations team is done. Realignment for bigger areas for field operations. Which makes sense
For sure. Just hard to take it. I understand from a business perscpetive sometimes job cuts are required. I just don't understand the decision making process. Getting SAP made me believe it would only be a matter of time before the RSS position is eliminated. SM's though? I feel like thats an important enough role cutting down any management and still producing at the speed in which they require doesn't make sense.
Also having all these telematic position, field ops, & the new business role seems a bit much. Always thought retail was the safe bet... not anymore
As far as retail I'm hearing the same rumors about SM's. I'm also hearing rumors about RSS positions. There has also been speculation of stores being transferred to Authorized Retailers. In the end though, no one on here is confirming or denying anything and I can't blame them. As "anonymous" as this may be we all know things can be tracked.
