Since supposedly DM's are finding out today in many places has anyone heard anything about what this Thursdays cut will entail?

Hahaha wSAP is the worst retail systems app investment since Resource Central. If they cut RSS the managers are gonna have the worst time imaginable with inventory.
Yes. You get a notice. Within that notice is your severance package details. You sign it, fax it in, and you get your money about a month later.
Oh and by signing the package, you can't come back to Verizon for 6 months. Not that anyone would want to come back to this joke of a company.
Does anyone know how the severance package process work?
Retail Operations support should be worried. They are incremental support headcount that travels with a district. The stores that are left can operate just fine without the extra support layer.
It's sad that we've become an after thought. Management haven't been trained on the wSap so good luck with running your store and figuring it out the slow not so friendly site. Employees aren't valued anymore and the company isn't stable. We work in a stressful work place due to never knowing if weee losing our jobs.

Yes RSS spot for sure. That's essentially the reason for SAPP. Also, lets me honest the position doesn't do anything the management team can't do. Still sad of course

@1lve this is nothing I had heard directly from the source only that said source is all but confirming it. Regardless of what you do and the position you have, no one is safe. Just anticipate the outcome and be ready if it happens. Good luck to all.

From my understanding it will impact SM's based on stores cutting dow to 3 SM's if they have 4 - 2 if they have 3

RSS are all gone? That s---s. That was just made like 5 months ago from the people that survived the ES/Ops cut. They do a lot in the back, good luck losing a huge part there.
DMs know today. Were being coached by hr on the communication meetings. All GM hands on deck Wednesday for their meeting as well as Thursday. Districts will be cut in half (some closures, some flipped to AR). DMs will be eliminated as wel. Doesn't matter if you are a high producing store... you can get cut too.
All RSS role will be cut Thursday along with some solutions specialists.
wSap was implemented to make back and simpler so managers could handle it on top of their workload, productivity is all that matters so cutting headcount is paramount.

The DMs know as of today, they had a call this afternoon. 8am call Wednesday for GMs to have communication about Thursday.
