Has management resumed abusing employees to drive them out. They did this 3-4 years ago. follett management targeted employees with many years of service to the company (read 15+ years). The abused the employee until the employee resigned. No severance. No retirement. Emotional scars and a job search.

NONE THIS EMPLOYER IS DEPLORABLE!
Cons
Corporate allows store managers to have more control than normal retailers.
No camaraderie among colleauges.
Managers are allowed to cover up dismissals.
Favoritism is so bad that some new hires can micromanage co-workers in same position who have been there longer.
Advice to Management
Give your store managers LESS control over stuff corporate should control (ie. Atmosphere and background noise, how employees should be treated). Also value your employees more and they will treat customers PROPERLY. Finally...DIVERSITY TRAINING MUST BE REQUIRED BECAUSE I WORKED AT A STORE RUN BY A BIGOT!
