We had extra security and it looked like Dior locks on the floors were being tested here in Atlanta.

Company is not that agile, those doors likely have nothing to do with layoffs.
Friend still in Atlanta told me friends had been asked to volunteer to be surplussed. Yes it's not coming but it is already there.
They are protecting the property not the people.
Been there done that! They will be laying off in large numbers. AT&T is protecting the ones that will remain because when people lose their means of supporting themselves and family they can get angry and dangerous. Good luck to all.
"Atlanta." That's helpful.
Don't know what the purpose is. Could be just normal testing honestly. With looming layoffs in the area it could be just a precautionary step. Can't say for certain.
For what purpose?
They were testing the large doors on our floor that lock the halls from the elevators on both sides. Basically if you get to the floor on the elevator, you can't go any farther if these are locked.
What are they testing?
What building? Same in Lenox today
