Most were sh-- anyway, it was a bad buy. Bunch of ducking moaners were nds.
@LpeJGrq-6tsu - yes all ex-NDS people. Bought, f---ed royally, and now dumped. What a great M&A strategy Cisco has. Arseholes.
Something like 10-15 across CF and Staines.
It's definitely happening in uk
Not heard of anything in the UK today....
Some in the UK tomorrow
@5vpt: Please stop posting to every thread (or any of them)! I'm guessing you're ELT and trying to fill this board with garbage so no one will look past your nonsense to get the true dirt about Cisco's inner workings. If so, you're wasting your time.
Deadwood update, I hear my manager will be LRed. This will be the second manager to go before me. Time to get ready for my next vacation!
Is this true?
@2fcj Leave the deadwood aka Cisco pets alone they are not here to work only to sit around and look lost.
Bare minimum? I have co-workers that have been doing less than minimum but are reaping the rewards instead of being kicked to the curb. There's no way in hell this would slide anywhere else!
Why would you want to compromise your package? Thank you for the report.
Corp Strategy. 5 Months Pay (including 60 day warn) 5 months paid cobra. Good luck all.
Troll post
My manager let me know that he could understand why my team should be looking around. San Jose. It's going to be a big one.
"Juicy" depends on your location.... South Korea for example you could get a years salary or more. Other locations less and some MORE than even Korea.....
Anyone know the best way to get laid Off inside the company? I don't want to get fired but would like to take that juicy redundency package! Thoughts??
It's only "juicy" if you know you can find another job immediately. Problem is with Aug/Sep LR's, if you don't find something before Thanksgiving (in the US at least), it becomes harder to find a job in Dec because everyone is taking time off and its difficult to schedule interviews. Getting LR'd in mid-Jan & early Feb is a great time because many companies are just getting their annual budgets approved and getting reqs opened.
But, if you want to get laid off, simply do the bare minimum so you can't be fired and you'll end up in the bottom 5% and then just simply wait for the next round.
If I were you and I wanted to leave Cisco, just find a new job and give your notice. They'll probably walk you out the door immediately and you get paid for for the notice you gave.

Sorry to hear that man. Are you in Sales? Engineering?
UK. Not official yet by my manager has kindly given me the heads up so I can start preparing. Don't know the package yet. In DC team.
When you get posts like this all the time, unless you're provide your location and Europe, we simply assume dad's death is not accurate
Which group are you in? What was your package detail?
