Don't think anyone is assuming anything, uverse is going bye bye. That's the number we are being told here in the Midwest. Not good for many.

Seeing how prem techs out number dtv in house techs by 4/1, cutting half of a workforce doesn't make a whole lot of since. That's just ridiculous. Maybe within the next several years but within the next few months get outta here, Dont just post stuff that you assume. We're not here to spread rumors.
50% makes sense as the company begins to combine IEFS (Prem Techs) and DFS (DirecTV Field Services).
What kind of source is this coming from?
