Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

It will get worse.

You may have noticed that 1) Meg was not invited to Trump Tower for discussions. 2) Meg supported Hillary.

You can bet HP/HPE/NewCo will not be receiving government business or government renewals. You can also bet that any American businesses are going to pay an extra tariff on any goods and services from offshore.

Just a guess but this seems like a death sentence for HP/HPE/NewCo.

Historically, I think we are seeing yet another once great company run into the dirt by arrogant and hapless executives.

Obama is the greatest! Let's not forget the ACA would not have passed unless it had the Republicans' provisions, making it less affordable. It needs to be fixed, not repealed. Mr. President-Elect DumbLump will be the most childish, undignified POTUS we will have seen in centuries.

If Trump accomplishes four things in his first term, it will have been a huge success. First, stop the flow of illegals/human s-x trafficing/drugs into this country from the South by finally...finally building a barrier. Second, tax reform. Lowering corporate tax rates and rates for middle income Americans will stimulate economic growth. Third, repeal and replace the HORRIBLE ACA. The not so Affordable Care Act that mandated Americans purchase a product against their will. The SCOTUS labeled it as a tax....so, Obozo/liberal democrats accomplished raising the largest tax in American history. Well done dems. Fourth, re-negotiate these one sided/lopsided trade deals with other countries. Go out...dare ya, take a look at the .gov website that tracks trade deals (google is your friend) and take a look at the list of countries that WE Americans have trade deficits with. It's shameful. Americans have lost millions of good paying manufacturing jobs because of these lopsided trade deals stacked against the American worker. It's going to be a wonderful time the next four years.

It doesn't take a liberal to be pessimistic about Drumpf (supposed to be the old Trump last name). Let's just wait and see year-by-year. Sure he'll be a shot in the arm for business within the borders or good for our wages and I can give my applause when and if that happens. His actions with Carrier were okay - saving 60% of the jobs, but ironic how it was the VP who originally rejected Carrier when they wanted assistance from their state. Ford jobs saved within the US? No, Ford said that the American consumer was trending to larger cars, so the small-car plant didn't make as much business sense. Just wait and see.

Good grief the liberals on this site. Leaders of countries, CEO's are flocking to Trump tower to speak with Trump. Is he the messiah? No, but he's done more for American workers since elected than Obozo's done in eight years....and he hasn't even taken office yet. Duh. Hell, the IMF just hiked the growth rate of the American/world economy due to Trump's policy initiatives. Yet another Duh! He is pro-growth/capitalism, not pro-socialism.

Trump hasn't tweeted or mentioned HPE in any other communication. HE doesn't care about you or is interested in punishing HPE in any way. Stop pinning your hopes on Trump.
