EG Houston HW GBU... Sales got the green light to do fire sales in order to meet the q-end numbers. we're having a huge WW mess right now as we're not able to make all those deliveries on time. Customers (small & big) are becoming really pissed...

My last 3 PCs have blue screened - all in about the last 120 days. I just got my new Dell PC for personal use 2 days ago. I've never had a Dell blue screen.
I can't believe anyone wants HP junk in their data centers... Everywhere I have been its been Dell / EMC and a little bit of IBM... So not sure why HP can't fulfill orders, they shouldn't have any orders to fill...
A few days after I started my new job last year, my new boss said "Yeah I gave HP a call to give me a quote on some servers. Nobody ever called back."
Mind you, we're ordering tons of new servers to fill a new data center. And. nobody. called. back.
Dell gets the $$
I've been told by my boss that we'll report an excellent quarter out there. It's no surprise to anyone that it's not a real, sustainable revenue increase, but I guess as long as Wall Street takes it as good, we're fine. I wonder for how long the bubble will last, though.
Ha! Funny I'm reading this now... Class of January, 2015 here. I went to work for a big IT Reseller that unfortunately include HPE products as part of their solutions. You have NO IDEA how difficult it has been to explain multiple customers why their solutions were not implemented on time. Of course, telling them it was HPE's fault was not acceptable. We've had to change key project milestones several times for multiple customers. The HPE Account Managers working with us are clueless... They are given dates by OM and then nothing... I think they are even more frustrated than we are. We already started quoting more and more Dell solutions. They are not perfect, but at least they are not as bad as HPE...
