Retain the Best Employees? I doubt it!
More like retain the ones willing to give Kickbacks to their supervisors or give kickbacks in the form of pressuring personnel to donate there already strapped income to charities that management bonuses are based on meeting quotas especially in tough economic times.
I should know as my supervisor recently informed me that I needed to donate to a designated charity or lose my job as my supervisor's bonus and upper managements bonus depended on it. My family was already strapped and when I discussed with my spouse, the only way we could afford a charitable donation was to pull our 3 kids out of private school and send to public schools. We did and I was able to keep my job; but, as the recession progressed even more we weren't able to afford the same request the next time and I was promptly laid off without a single bad employee review during my career.
Really!
I work , i stress the work !!!!! , at arbroath and realise now more than ever that the realignment of the workforce was done half arsed as is the haliburton way. we now have the nepolistic machinists left that struggle to machine parts that we have produced for years, fitters incapable of following tech docs, and inspectors who cant use inspection tooling. but the good thing is those that are left are all arbroarh centric bods incapable of finding there arse with both hands even if given a visual aid.
they "thanked" the employees of BHI with a 3.5 BILLION DOLLAR gift, and thanked their own employees with a ---- -- --- ---.
The idiots had thousands of the 'right people' and then got rid of them so they could 'fundamentally change' the company. Now they have a bunch of moronic drones as employees and have lost 3.5 $billion in another worthless escapade of college graduate egotism. I see the future of Halliburton as one of being bought, transformed and unrecognizable in a few years. Probably the best thing to do as it is an embarrassment to the oilfield now days.
Hey! lesser owned up to it - said he owned, problem was others had to pay - > On Tuesday, the Halliburton executive team spoke out publicly for the first time since the Baker Hughes acquisition was terminated.
The company held its 1Q16 earnings call and addressed the deal, explaining the failure, owning it, and thanking employees of both companies for their efforts in the painful regulatory process.
Halliburton CEO Dave Lesar said: "There is no doubt we are disappointed... but you know what? We are Halliburton. And we will continue to provide the same innovated services and products that we've delivered to our customers for more than 97 years."
lesars latest propaganda email says it all, I am holding you all responsible to get the best value for every dollar spent ! really what value did HE get for the 3.5 billion dollars. the company might have been able to give a percentage rise to us plebs to raise morale a bit. but then ive always been a dreamer!
Trust us!!!!! We are here for you.... lol. We promise to keep you on a low pay grade. Because if we don't how will management make there bonuses
After all you are only field personal.
