Ignore the Directvnowcare posts. The peak time freezing on Appletv with error QP1502 and buffering on the Amazon Firetv is a acknowledged issue by DTV chat reps. This has been going on for weeks and chat cannot give a ETA for a fix. Directvnowcare reps are ignorant to this problem and shift the blame to the customer's end which is not the issue. This is a major failure on the engineering side of things. Both in the beta testing and the implementation of a fix to the problem. Competent engineers would have prevented this or at worse, corrected the issue. DTV is too arragont to bring in outside experts to fix this issue. The fact that this issue has been present for this period of time only shows that these so called engineers are over their heads on this one.
I wouldn't totally blame the engineers, AT&T executives knew they weren't prepared. Released it anyhow, without building the proper infrastructure , The whole thing is a big mess. The problems I fear is more complicated then most think and a fix might be a while away. Patience is a virtue.
