I know some associates who still have a job despite weak metrics and also one who is on verbal warning and still survived round of layoffs. I had solid metrics and have never called in sick and don't have a job. Great company.

Also, he advised me that FLSA the wage and overtime laws can't be waived to get severence. I have heard, there was some speculation about that in the severence agreements. Meaning you can still pursue labor issues and receive severence.
I have also retained an attorney. In my state you can not work employees without compensation. Salary does not work that way! Keep logs of all of your hours worked. Even if you are not on the clock.
Good for you for not wanting to work for 9-10 hours a day to meet unrealistic metrics. FYI, I retained a lawyer and I just asked him if the nurses are exempt because I think the HCM's are in for a world of hurt. He told me that he does not feel that nurses are exempt and should be compensated for all their hours. However, he is in FL. I'd like to help as many as we can to remind Humana that we are not just a number and there are laws they have to abide by.
Makes me wonder if the first round of lay-offs was just a slash and burn, no one spared event. Upcoming layoffs could be the same but MF has emphasized the top 25% of performers from the beginning. I think they are looking at that now as they continue to trim the work force.
Automation such as the auto dialer will allow Humana to eliminate HCM-RN positions for sure. I don't think Humana is finished yet with its 'restructuring'.
Being still employed (for now), I will meet reasonable metrics but I refuse to destroy my health and life by working 9 plus hours on a consistent basis. Shame on Humana for expecting more than full-time labor without flex time, overtime or comp time. Shame on the gov't for allowing salary-exempt to be the slavery of this century.
