On-prem hardware and DB markets will continue to contract. This is not just Oracle. Customers will now need to decide whether to continue with on-prem solutions or migrate to cloud. If they're not heavily invested in Oracle solutions, then they will be able to look towards other cloud service providers.

thelayoff.com has been mentioned by many business news outlets as a source for Oracle leaks. It has apparently had an impact as customers are now re-assessing whether to continue with Oracle DB and cloud solutions or go for something else. Sales outlook for SPARC has declined sharply and it now seems to be impacting non-SPARC lines as well. Executives were apparently caught off-guard at how quickly and strongly these leaks here and on social media would have an effect.

Looks like this layoff topic and the publicity is getting on the tree stooges' nerves so send it the storm troopers to sabotage the discussion thread - very nature behavior. But then look at whom we're talking about here - le, mh, and sc. - desperately trying to prevent any info from being shared. Won't work!
