Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Any one know anything about AP or the new positions that were created?

Staffing hours?

Risk levels?

APM/AMAP?

ZMAPP?

Risk level changes for the better? Ha. What planet are you on? You think the rest of the company would get cut to the bone and APP would get MORE payroll? Get real. APP is in for a hurting.

Look at Scott Glenn's OKRs. IRTs to be hired by today and "execute store level organizational changes by 2/17". Everybody going home will be told by Friday so it'll be done before their fancy conference in Chicago.

Do you mean risk levels changing for the better to have less AP coverage?

We are a 5 or 4 so to cut back we'd have to pretend we're a 3 or 2.

Does anyone know for sure there are risk level changes for the worst or are you just speculating?

Rumor is that risk levels are taking a big hit. Most RL 2s will go down to RL 1 since the Area APM will be able to cover those stores as part of the IRT.

We associates already stole the....well, actually, we didn't steal anything because it was all junk. We found better deals on the "Free" section of Craigslist.

I now that there were some positions created between a ZMAP and an APM. These people are responsible for about 6 stores. Don't remember what they were called but they were sold as sort of a mentor/helper position to assist APM's with investigations and such.

Not sure how this all fits into saving money since they created a bunch of new positions instead of consolidating, although these are cross format positions.
