I thought Humana would have been the company I would have retired from. So disappointed in these recent developments. Found out on 2/1 and it is sinking in. Applying all over for alternative employment. Tired of the greed in corporate America and insurance in general. Why no news articles about this... Media unaware?

I can relate to how you feel. Humana was definitely part of my long term plans. But I hate to say that I'm actually kind of relieved. I mean, if I had to be unethical and deceptive like MF and his cronies; I want no part of it. And secondly, the entire time I was with HAH and through this audit it seemed like every new idea was poorly planned, reactionary, and untested. I can't say how many times I was astounded by the magnitude of the ineptitude!
Let's not kid ourselves, any time you are trying to sell your company to another company; the writing is on the wall.
I wish it was like the old days where if you laid people off you were looked upon as a bad business person. If the people doing the layoffs actually felt the heat of their nearsighted and poor business decisions they would be demoted or let go themselves, MF would be cleaning toilets and he would probably mess that up mumbling to himself that we have to do better. Sorry, I'm just over it!
