To implement this alignment, we have defined a three-phase transition approach:
Phase One: The initial phase began in 2016, with cross training enrollment representatives (ERs) in our Business, Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) and Communications programs so that they may help enroll students in any of these programs without having to transfer students between ERs.
Phase Two: The second phase begins on Wednesday, Feb. 8. As part of this phase, inquiries originating in Texas for Business, IS&T and Communications programs will be routed to ERs dedicated to the Texas markets. In addition, all enrollment teams supporting the School of Business, IS&T and Communications programs across the country will be getting inquiries from these programs. By routing inquiries to these groups together, we can best serve our potential students and more seamlessly answer a wider variety of questions as they determine which program to pursue.
Phase Three: If the results from Phase Two show improvement in the enrollment metrics we currently track, then we will begin the final phase later this spring. In this phase, all inquiries for Business, IS&T and Communications will be routed by market to ERs residing in or assigned to those markets. Further, we will refocus on strengthening connections with our students, staff, faculty, alumni, employers and communities. To accomplish this, we are partnering with our markets, Schools and Colleges to provide additional resources (Program Snapshot, Career Lookup) and training about services, programs and other useful information offered at campuses.
