Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

What is going to happen with small BIZ?

Has anyone heard anything about a small business layoff?

Logically thinking....we started with Smartcheck training last year...then checking phones in stores and then DSC's were shut down and all of their employees were let go. In December we took Small Biz cold calling training.....now reps are making outbound calls in the stores. What is the logical next step? Authorized Retailers are already hiring their own small biz reps at AT&T's request. The ARs didn't wake up one day and say let's start focusing on Small Biz simultaneously. Small Biz reps supporting stores will dissipate when At&T feels the shift is to the point where it will be seamless to the customer. We all know that at&t's transitions and/or system conversions are never seamless. Laying off a goal of 80,000 employees will be a long drawn out process. Someone reference a bumpy road ahead... AT&T should include mountain climbing in their 2020 training. Just know that the anticipation of waiting for the axe to fall is worse than when it actually does. That I can say will certainty since I was already cut.
