Unrealistic expectations

It's true the more you do the more they expect. They literally say if 1 can do it everyone can do it. I am an HCM on dialer the expectations for us are obnoxious and unrealistic. I have 39 mins to review mdat, complete comp and med list, HEIDIS and don't forget the referrals for ICT. If your member has an actual need or needs a translator your screwed, you won't make metric for the day. The only members that this metric works for are healthy members with no needs. I then have 39 mins to document and if you get a an existing CP your screwed! Again quit possible for healthy member but if there are real issues your screwed not making metric! Let's remember this is a SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM so basically we are screwed trying to achieve the impossible. Staying late EVERYDAY and some days still falling short of metric even though your 8 hrs ended an hour and half ago because your member was a noncompliant diabetic with wound vac.... totally screwed!!!

The problem is that all the people at the top never done the job. My coach is not a RN or MSW she has a degree in public administration and was hired from the outside with no health care experience. I am sure she knows someone and that's why she got the job. She micro manage because she doesn't know the job. There plenty of people in the team that applied for the coach job but instead she got it. All she says is you need to work late.
