When companies lay off large amounts of staff, why is it a secret how many? Why doesn't the press and news know? Maybe the President of our country wants to save our jobs? Why isn't anybody looking at M. Franke performance? They are just pitting us against each other daily with sending out our statistics company wide. Isn't there anybody who can speak on our behalf and be heard?

Most people are quoting old article - they never told us how many were laid off.
They never told us what the plans are.
We have no information, bits and pieces of info posted on this website is all we have right now.
I am hoping that people will share what they learn and that at least we can use this site to gather some info about what's going on. I've got some pings on FB from friends, but that's all confidential (and honestly I did not learn much).
Check dates on any new articles: don't confuse the articles written about 2010 or 2015.
That article you are reading is old. Check the date....
Same 600, and there is a news article out of Louisville reporting 1,400. No explanation. First wave was yesterday
I saw there were 1400, 750 full time
I understand the number to be 600 yesterday and many more to come since that was just the "first round"
