Mike is working for the dems? What are you talking about? Dem or Rep has nothing to do with his hideous management style his inability to communicate except in corporate lingo. He's just out for his own shining star and will stomp the backs of the telephonic or field staff who are the faces and voices that the members learn to trust. He can't even explain honestly the rationale for the layoffs. Which sorry seems more Rep leaning because that's bottom line corporate profits at all costs even human costs.
I believe he has been the worst decision that Humana has made. This job was at one point a great job!
I agree with the last comment. If you are an HCM-RN do NOT put in overtime and do NOT make more than an average of 10 contacts. If everyone continues killing themselves to meet the average then the average is only going to continue to increase.
If each RN only made 8-9 successful calls a day there isn't much they'd be able to do to us as a group.

I'm a manager and was not told about this or asked for input.
Says that we should not be concerned about future layoffs, just on the impacted people and members....NO. We need to know if we will have a job tomorrow!
Ask a legit question: how many were affected and get a "natural curiosity" and 'what real value to know how many"? Talk about transparency.... cause we all speculate and process differently, eh?

I think leaders didn't know, our boss lost her job same time as us and was as shocked and heart broken. Her manager had no clue either.
The leaders "participated" but didn't know who was getting laid off???
Does he expect anyone to believe that? One of my teammates that got laid off was asked to clarify her address BEFORE this happened. But the boss didn't know? Extremely hard to believe.

This meeting is as vague as they always area. "Change is necessary to meet our goals of member outreach and connection....." mmmmk...?
They never give clear answers. I always leave with more questions than answers. All they do is talk in circles and NEVER answer questions directly. It's very frustrating as a worker to never know what the bottom line is with this company
