Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

No store closures? HA!

I love how Kevin Zavaglia was touting no more store closures at the UPNY kickoff, going as far as as saying "No way Jose!" About it. "We are in the business of opening stores, not closing them!" He bragged that they are opening 14 new corporate stores. But yet, it's announced this week that three stores are being closed: Greece Ridge (Rochester), Eastview (Rochester), and Colonie Center (Albany). Great job furthering your awesome reputation of being untrustworthy.

Good company but if you wonder why Trump took the WH think about this for a while. And thats everywhere

-STI cut

-Profit share cut

-Off shore jobs

-LTI gone

-Health care costs rising every year

-base pay does not keep up with inflation

-Do more with less

-Impossible for most to have single parent working

I can't wrap my head around the number of people this company has laid off in the past 2 years and they still spend fortunes on these dog and pony shows. Anyone who believes anything these snack oil salesmen have to say really needs their heads examined.

That isn't exactly what he said. He said that we would close stores that aren't producing but we would also be opening 14 new stores this year. Let's see if that happens...

Leadership can't be trusted. They will say ANYTHING to keep morale up at this point.

Don't believe anything they say, ever. No one lies better than a market president.
