Just because you see jobs does not mean they are hiring. They can claim they can't find anyone and have to go the H1B route.
As per 4iow - the failure to clean up these positing is just another Denison to oracle's deception
Oracle openings mean nothing, old garbage that nobody has bothered to clean up. There are no approved hiring recs behind these positing, which is what you need to be able to add somebody to payroll. So just ignore this junk
Just looked, 236 openings at Oracle with Solaris, about half in the US. So Oracle fires and then hires back? Or are the cuts exaggerated?
perhaps after some months, that's what people are believing, however, nothing is sure as of yet.
Just open source it.
