Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

how much does a senior principle architect and a director make as base salary at DirecTV El Sugendo office?

Glassdoor shows Senior principle architect $155k - which seems to be pretty low. A friend who got offered as consultant (15+ years of experience) as network architect is evaluating how much salary he would make if he would get offered full time and the above number in glass door is not encouraging. Even Director salary seem to be peaked at 190k.

AT&T pay will be leveled (lower) in CA with former DTV staff to mirror the geo average of Atlanta (main hub) and Dallas (hqs). Some of the HR leveling is already complete. There will be no adjusted wage bumps in high cost areas (e.g., CA) beginning in 2017 for new hires. Same for NJ/NY. If fact, the master plan is to relocate more of the former DTV positions to Atlanta and Dallas prior to the TW acquisition. Large funding levels set aside for management relocation.
