Every company that is public, has and will layoff. It's about profit and dividends.
Smaller private owed companies who can weather the storm. Are in a different league.
I'd rather see a list of oilfield service companies who didn't do any layoffs.
(yes, I know I'm repeating what the last guy said but that seems to be the done thing around here.)

This is not surprising. What I'd rather see is a list of oilfield service companies the did NOT lay anyone off in this downturn. Lay offs during downturns are the norm in the industry.
