Thread regarding Follett layoffs

That's it, I'm done!

2016 - no raise or bonus

2017 - pay decrease, no raise, no bonus, and benefit cuts

2018 - possibly another no raise no bonus year

I have been angry, but I actually love my store, my staff, and my school. So I was s---ing up how much I despise Follett.

But I've had it with being unappreciated and treated like I am disposable. Yeah, I'm looking for a job now you bastards!

RG indicated that probably won't make the net income number. Bonuses were already cut at the start of the year. Whatever your max bonus opportunity was, was cut in half. 10% bonus plan, the max you could get is 5%

Where in the world do you people keep getting that bonuses were cut? The town hall videos and notes stated STI bonuses were NOT affected!

Did anyone else notice the audience in RG's grand town hall? Why on earth would they do that?

Isn't that sort of proof? How about the $47K pay adjustments? Who was benefiting from those changes?

Believe what you want. You're the Follett troll. Everything is fine!

"Why so angry?"

I'm not angry. I'm just asking for your sources. You haven't provided any which means you're trying to spread misinformation.

It's not all that surprising. When they took our bonus this year I took that to mean, no more bonuses. So I have not busted my a-- to make sales goals because I don't see an incentive to do so. My goal this year is to keep store operating expenses low, payroll manageable and give good customer service because or students deserve it. The people that do the most work are the ones that get stiffed first. If you drive out the SM1s, SM2s , ASM's and OMs who is going to run the stores?

Why so angry? If you really can't remember what they said before fine. Everything is fine! We're all trolls trying to make them look bad.

"I guess you can't remember what they said yesterday, or last week, or a month ago, or six months ago."

Taking a page out of Trump's book, eh? Stating something as fact without providing any evidence of support. State your sources or go away, troll.

Where are your sources?

As far as the bonus goes FSS is doing fine. That's what Nader and Ray are saying.

And Nader and Ray are not confirmed liars?

It is disheartening how quickly some of the "close" relationships dissolve. Once you leave, you will lose a lot of the support you enjoyed. Here's the thing, you won't need support Follett is that bad.

To whomever wrote good bye buttercup; get bent you stinking troll

As far as the bonus goes FSS is doing fine. That's what Nader and Ray are saying. If I understand the bonus structure correctly it means FSS employees will get 60% of their potential. If I'm wrong, correct me.

In these all-consuming jobs, your co-workers become the next-closest thing to your children and parents, and not communicating with them in the same way all of a sudden leaves a big gap. You feel a sense of loss.
