Lots of people are very curious where the gas assets will wind up at, Off shore is part of ENB I believe but the Mid stream was EEP but now is MEP, most if not all Mid-Streams that are operating are doing so at a loss due to the state of the current markets, there is a slow recovery but not sure how things with pan out for the Mid-Stream, currently Spectra's Mid-Stream is DCP but it's a joint venture so not so not sure how much interaction Spectra has with DCP and where will DCP be when the merger is complete or are they even part of the merger.

If you are one of those who got laid off, one BIG question I would have for you is this: Why would you even care? You just got screwed by a company that, given their "bottom line" didn't want you around anymore. You are not part of "them" anymore. And quite frankly, I highly doubt, as the execs claim their year end bonuses, THEY wont be thinking about you.
If you are not someone who got laid off, you are insensitive for posting this here. People got laid off. Their livelihood is gone. They have families to feed and bills to pay. THATS what people here are talking about.
