As an L1er you will have the same base ranges and bonus target as local workers at the same grade. What you'll usually miss are RSUs/options and quite often you can be also screwed on raises.
It all comes down to the manager/director really - it's up to them if they will reward you when they don't really need to, since as long as you're L1, you are effectively a slave of the company.
