Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Laid off at HPE

actively pursued by HPE for months. Accepted offer and then was laid off 6 months later. No real strategy but it appears (my opinion) that Meg is setting the company for privatization buy out by some equity firm. Lots of cash and shares in spin-off companies that can be converted to cash to pay off debt acquired when going private. Help Meg pay off the massive expense she incurred while running (and losing) political office in CA. she is definitely angling for a position in Hillary's cabinet

I also had two offers and chose HPE only to be laid off 6 months later. Hopefully this time around it doesn't take forever to find another job.

I was also laid off last week, after being hired only 4 months ago after a long recruitment process. I had another offer at that time but chose HPE. After the software announcement I figured maybe I would start searching in early 2017. Still shaking my head in disbelief.
