That company hired 35K employees for original split, then spun everything off with plans to layoff most of the 35k they hired. They knew about it of course and treated the employees like cannon fodder. I got laid off, had a new job shortly, and realize the snow job and lies I heard over and over again! This company should be investigated for not only illegal hiring practices but illegal layoff practices. The EEOC would have a field day with them. They are scum of the earth in my opinion, 12 years with a company, then lied to by recruiting, 5 bosses in 1 year, yes 5, then laid off as position was eliminated, lie, they ask my leads to take on all my duties so they quit!!!!! HPE is a joke, don't waste your time or your families security on the D. Trump of IT, Meg Whitman!!!!! Lies at the drop of a hat.

Have to agree. If Hillary takes the oval office, granny Meg will move into her staff. The writing is on the wall since months. This way she can skip local politics and move directly into the top seats.
Maybe as Chief of Staff? Define strategies to cut goverment spending by introducing a new effective plan for the next 4 years. Just not sure if employees in the public sector can be sacked so easily like in the open market.

Not sure why any of this surprises you. If you truly worked at HP 12 years, then you have seen this movie 20 times since Carly and knew it was going to hit you eventually, and those remaining will fall or be miserable as well. It hasn't been a great place to work since 1998. Congrats on finding a new job. I suggest you let it go rather then get worked up about it. It was just a job and nothing personal.
