many products has been closed in last months, seems like more would be closed, micro focus keeps only old mature products active, any new products are doomed, the future not seems bright for hp software.

Someone keeps asking about ArcSight future, which is odd. I have seen the numbers in comparison with the rest of the business and you would be surprised as to the size and value. There is NO WAY that Micro Focus would 'kill it off'. That would be suicide and put a massive hole in the money they are spending. Stupid things have been done in the past, but I don't see it going anywhere. What I hope is that the brands come back and are positioned back to where they should be, as standout solutions. Take a look at the respective websites for microfocus.com and netiq.com. The branding is there, focused set of solutions is there etc. I expect things to get a lot more focused and branded. Got to be a lot better than the stupid corporate website that we have currently, which you cant find anything or even search on!
Yeah, the remaining clients will see the light and use splunk instead.
