Run Like Hell if or when you see some daylight! A new economy is coming. you want to be somewhere that is prepared for growth. Not IBM or HPE or any "Old Player". The OLD players have destroyed Corporate America. There will be enormous opportunity out there for the next 5 years!

Roseville is always so up in the air. I do know they're slowly emptying out R4, and plan on cramming everyone into R3 and R5. Rumor is that they plan on demolishing R4 eventually. But will "everyone" get pink slips? Nah. Not everyone, but quite a few.
Very doubtful everyone in Roseville will get pink slips. Some will, but not all. The site is, however, being sold off and then HPE leases back a few buildings. Construction workers are currently remodeling R6 so they can hold the new Spinco inmates.
Heard everyone in Roseville get the pink slips soon to avoid tax penaltys. This is so similar to when Carly Figgorino let divisions go and send our USA jobs to India. All in the name of stock investors. Forget us, the comman working folk who pay out taxes.tell Trump to make a call to Meg Whitman.
So sorry to hear about CSC - it used to be a quality company. I was initially happy about the merger, not now.
Current CSC employee here, have been an employee for decades. God help anybody who will don a CSC badge post merger. Nobody has received raises the last few years, the Lawrie and minions tyranny is awful. Lawrie alone is set to pocket I believe 44 million from the merger. We've slowly been losing benefits such as vacation accruals, company 401k matching has switched to once a year, etc. Immediate management luckily is good for the most part, everyone above local management already drank the Kool Aid.
A couple of colleagues and I are heading to Micro Focus next year.
But one colleague I knew from HPE Cloud was getting spun off to SUSE and will be part of their company next month. He mentioned that the pay was the same, bonuses better, and some benefits were good and some weren't so good, but overall better than what HPE offers. I didn't get specifics, but he was happy to leave HPE and go to a company that that cared about his current work.
Crossing my fingers that Micro Focus's package will be as good SUSE's since SUSE is a subsidiary of Micro Focus. And hopefully not as bad as what I've been hearing about CSC/SpinCo.
I will stick around
