I signed up this morning for DirecTV Now and the service is a joke! I realize it's the first day but it's not worth the $35/mo you pay for it. It is worth it to get it and enjoy a discounted Apple TV. It's definitely not ready for prime time and they should've waited a little longer to launch it when they at least had DVR ready.

Haha I did the same thing. Thanks for the $100 apple tv. Cancelling DirecTV now after the 3 months. BYE!!
Grandfathered? That is funny

This $35 a month is not grandfathered, they can raise it up anytime. Read the fine print.
Bare bone joke of the year
I actually like it - I cut my cord a few years ago, and this simple, 35 bucks, no franchise fees, no taxes no surcharges, and if they jack up prices i'll just cancel.
Btw, the 35 bucks plan is grandfathered and you will be able to keep the price as long as you stay on it.
It may be just me but I like it
This service is a joke why would anyone want it. It is basically a cable tv model over the Internet. This $35 entry fee is just that entry. AT&T can change it anytime and it will. At $60 a month with no DVR you can just stick with cable and get better value. They did not think it through. People want choices not the same thing bundled in a different way.
Got mine too!
