HPE Software just laid off more than half of my group, including myself. Of course this was after we hit all of our targets in Q4.. we were lied to by the new COO who said no reductions, and that we are good and just focus on closing out Q4.. so basically we worked our butts off to delivery, and then got kicked in them the day after.

Unfortunately the bleeding won't stop, I heard it will continue to bleed throughout the remainder of the year and then in January there will be a blood bath. My last day was Friday, I worked with talented amazing people, too bad that can't be said with the executives who ran this company into the ground. Oracle, EMC/Dell, AWS are eating HPE's lunch, HPE lost, the executives know it and they have absolutely no strategy. Meg thinks she's turned this company around, but we all know she was not qualified to run this company. Good luck to those of you who are still there, but you should start looking, think of your family first before you too get the axe.
What i heard from yesterday is 50% of sales and pre sales from SW were wfr in AMS, seems a lot.
Dont know if other regions have been affected.
