Over 20 years with HP and given my walking papers. Not sure what is in store for me and my family but just about any job situation has to be better than working with a WFR cloud hanging over your head. I've always said that I would probably work at HPE until they kicked me out and here we are. Good luck to those who remain, but be smart. Start your job search now because you may be right behind me!

I just got WFR'd yesterday (along with half of the Canadian ITOM/AMS pre-sales team).
I am in the same boat you were in. You just got tossed overboard before me. I am working with the same WFR cloud hanging over my head. I am waiting for them to come tap me on the shoulder. But they will have to pay me to leave.

I know the feeling. Mine was on Jan 30 2015 in the worst possible way. You will be fine. Perseverance and resilience will be key. The toughest part is seeing how the days and weeks pass without nothing, and getting a ridiculous amount of "no, thanks" from the jobs you apply to. You just need to continue moving forward, forward, forward, without ever stopping. Perseverance (and keeping a positive attitude during the turmoil) are really key. YOU CAN SUCCEED, AND YOU WILL. Never forget the people that will help you during this difficult time. You'll be surprised how many "friends" will disappear.
I got let go today as well. They needed fo cut 30+ million from payroll. Luckily I found something quick but I am glad to be off the sinking ship.
