Did the raise shut you up? Are you happy now? Will you not care of the people who will be affected next week? I called these the bandaid raises.

Received a 4% increase without notice but I also feel there is a cause for this increment. An absolute empty emotion and knowing everyone will be checking their calendars for unprecedented 1 on 1s. After plentiful thinking I will look for a new job in January.

@1pfd - it sounds like another useless manager trying to make themselves busy. Curious to know what becomes of it.
I hope I am not in trouble sounding off during the Beat ended up to trigger the people deal staff to interrogate.

My director rounded us up and bought catered pizza and salad for lunch on Wednesday. He bragged he just got promoted to Senior Director to everybody. I never did clap or say anything even once to congratulate. I whispered to my coworker about the LR and the raise to the select few after. This is typical cisco. I can't no longer eat up People Deal anymore. During the Beat, I commented out about Lost Culture with constant LR and one of the People Deal staff asked me to connect offline.
She did actually contacted me to meet but I respecfully declined.
Yes - indeed I was one of those who got a raise and a promotion last year. I got axed in August.

What's interesting to see, is how many people got raises now will be axed during upcoming LR.
In last round they get rid of quite a few people who were promoted within a year before, so I wonder if they're going to repeat that.
I take this more like an eye opener to try to quiet things like the stimulus checks from Bush. I get it OP.
Surely you are not blaming the people not (yet) let go for the decisions made by the CIsco ELT?
