Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

bashing the competition

Is it just me or does HPE love to bash the competition? I'm listening to Bill Philbin talk about how it is not a good time to be in EMC / Dell, NetApp, IBM and so on but it is a great time to be at HPE. Do other companies talk badly about HPE? I never saw this at my previous company. I hear garbage like this and it makes me want to go running to the store to buy a Dell computer.

We all know it is not a good time to be at HPE or any high tech company. Do they actually believe the BS they tell us?

When you use "bashing" as a strategy, it's because you have no strategy at all, and are simply desperate.

I recall Meg calling Dell 'employee unfriendly' because they were backed by private equity. How disconnected from reality do you have to be to say something like that after putting 100,000 of your own employees out of work - all for the sake of a better short-term stock price?

Bill replaced a GM (Manish) who left abruptly after being here for 18 months. His exit from the company was really low key and kind of sketchy. No formal announcement or anything. I'm guessing this is not not panic investors?

HA! HP is a joke. It hasn't been a good time to work there for at least 5 years. Plus the whole planet talks bad about HP's website.
