What's vested is vested, they can't take it away from you withoit violating securities laws, which they will not do - the government enforcers them. You will have to exercise them within the timeframe stated on the grant and you will have to write a check for the full exercise amount.
Even if they're 100% vested?

What happens to stock options? Do you have time to exercise them if laid off?

1:1 w/ manager and director was the structure when my coworker was RIFd a few weeks ago. My director reached out a last week to basically let me know my team was being absorbed by another group but I made the cut and needed to be prepared to pack up and move to a different physical location. GL tomorrow
So if I just got a 1:1 scheduled for tomorrow with the manager and director I should be worried?

Yes. They continue to shed jobs in smaller numbers to stay under the radar. Expect more cuts in hardware into and through 2017.
How many jobs have been shed in your BU? Next quarter guidance was lowered there is additional pressure to reduce quickly but the company does it in small batches.
Is this in addition to the hardware cuts that already took place?
I heard hardware groups will be impacted R&D both CA and MA. Anyone else hearing this? Systems is not selling well.
