Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

The bigest problem of oracle is M. H.

M.H. is one of the first executives at oracle looking very stupid at openworld 2016, see:

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/09/19/oracle_openworld1/

L.E. did a big mistake hiring this bad guy.

S. C. is also making its origins (romania) conducting her to make big mistakes.

Having laying off very talented people from EMEA, APAC (Australia) and thinking replacing them with people with only school background is only driven by financial decisions.

Those sad CEO and sadly oracle will pay the high price for that.

Most of the peole layed off have now found a new job, and now the reality at oracle will surface.

Everybody knows that only few csts paying very high amount of moneys (mainly top accounts) are really supported by the support organization at oracle.

If you are a small cst, well, hum, you pay, right ?

I believe that they could probably generate the same revenue by losing the ex sun units. They aren't making money off of them per se but they are at least appear to cover operating costs. Yet if they are pumping R&D into that hardware it's a losing proposition.

I hate to say this but Oracle could be very profitable with 1/2 the people they got now. Most employees don't bring a single value to the company. They are just making up projects and agendas to justify their jobs at Oracle.

Problem with Oracle is that their SW and HW are way overpriced and sh--ty customer service. They don't give a crap about anyone, Oracle is always right and if you don't like it...so be it. They don't give a sh-- about their employees, customers, or partners. They think they have the best and their way is the right way. Very myopic and arrogant company to work for. They always keep employees in the dark and hiding behind their Excel spreadsheets.

MH has infiltrated Oracle with all his buddies from HPE, too late for LE or SC can do anything.

They are replacing experienced sales reps in US with new college grads who have zero experience speaking to C-level execs and are falling on their faces. Droves of reps are talented reps are leaving for the competitors and MH doesn't care as it's the new work force is cheap and looks like progress in the short term. Good luck hitting growth expectations once you only have college grads

Yep, clearly birds of a feather: cost cutting, consolidation, getting rid of experiences people in sales - le- never liked sales people " products should sell themselves, sales people are a tax", doesn't bode well for oracle

I don't think you understand. LE hired MH because they are both cut from the same mold. No other company would hire MH which is the leverage that LE has over him! MH was hired to do even more dirty work than LE himself wanted to do. That said. I don't know why anyone would purposely hire in at Oracle. There are better companies with better leaders and futures.

What's he for?

I had a quick look on Wikipedia to see what Mark H. had done, and it looked to me like he made some shareholders a bit richer by sacking some of the workers then sεxually harassed someone.

I wouldn't listen to any advise he might give about tech, I'm not sure he even understands any of it.
