As a CEO you could not carry Erle P. dope bucket. Spent 39 years with Halliburton. When the flying H was removed it started to go south

I volunteered for and received an enhanced severance package. May the 20th ended a 35 year career in the field. Worked land, offshore and some overseas as a commuter. Cementing, Tools, Testing and TCP . Today's Halliburton isn't a shadow of the company it once was and there's no way I'd ever come out of retirement for Dave's version of the company that I once would have fought for.
Oh yes, another egotistical college snot nose know nothing momma's boy that thinks he and his ilk are the answer to all the worlds problems but can't figure out how to tie his own shoes. Years from now he will finally learn they were 'pull-ons' with no laces. Between now and then, in all their wisdom they will ruin Halliburton and take that twit Davey with them.

That's what I'm talking about. Why lay off younger employees with families to support when there are thousands of us praying for a severance package? Everybody knows us old people don't do sh-- anyway. The new young employees don't listen because they all know a better way (that's failed 100 times in the past) so let's just get on with it.

Let's have a Landmark meeting to discuss these points. 10 AM - large conference room. If currently reserved, we will displace that meeting.
If that were to happen, there would be a mass exidus at Landmark. But it would be mostly competent Geoscientist's and Engineers who were here when the company was still half a$$ed credible and industry still wanted and used our software.
Than Nags and his ilk would be in a real mess. All they are good for is calling multiple, useless meetings that turn into screaming matches, and don't end until the brown guys have had their daily fix of trashing the white guys and even a few of their Mexican attack dogs
After the meeting, Nags and his inner circle all leave together with self satisfied smirks on their faces and, we suspect, go off somewhere to worship at the feet of a herd of cows.

Most of the old geniuses that made the company great have already been cut. If any more leave, the young social media experts will have no one but the internet to ask how to do their jobs.
