Latest visit we were told to get our store score up, or there would be individual associate interviews as to why items on his checklist were not completed. He said if our Kmart closes it's our fault. We are all doing the best we can with all the extra responsibilities that have been handed to us. Here's the kicker, the day after he left we were told to cut payroll for the rest of the week. Is anyone else getting set up for failure like our store?

I like the suggestion of the secret notebook. A lot of what they are doing is a process of intimidation. Sometimes you have to be fairly aggressive with these idiots. Show them the documentation of your time, and then ask them how they think you should handle the constant interruptions and other issues caused by the lack of adequate staff. They won't know how to respond.
All SHC employees are going to be ex-SHC employees very soon, so there's no reason to s--- up to these fools...
Great idea and you can use this in a lawsuit also
LOL!!! My recommendation, keep a secret notebook and document how spend every minute. This way when they interview you and ask why something isn't done you say, "wait a minute, let me get my notebook." Their eyes will get big when they see your journal several pages long with dates and everything recorded. Then tell them, " well lets see, I started at 3:00 and at 3:15, I was called to the front to ring register. At 3:20 I went back to the floor and helped a customer until 3:30 I returned to my project and at 3:35 I was called for a price check and then the floor supervisor asked me to make up a new sign for her. I returned to my assigned task at 3:55. It shows in the first hour you really only had about 20 minutes in the hour to work on your assigned task. If you are concerned about this and any interviews then protect yourself. Yes they are always looking to clean house and will set people up for failure.
