Maybe we can call it Jizzco instead.

@nxa, stupidity is a fact in your person!!
You should be fired for not knowing how to spell the company name you claim to work for crackhead.
Cisco allows taking a lower grade through the LR. I was asked to go to the next step in the interviewing process for three positions at a lower grade. Two grades lower is just too much of a drop in salary so I opted out. Heard of a Director at grade level 13 taking a grade level 11 position. That is a tough pill to swallow. Likes Cisco, but not enough for two grade level drops.
Talking about "spelling" but not able to join a discussion say alot about your prospects ..! Mr. Zizko !
Learning how to spell Cisco might help your prospects.
Was ready to take demotion because I ruined by career over 11 yrs here. Most other company interviewers from other top notch startups has been in sysko at some point and they know the reality what an engg do in life at sysko. And i am out of the door mid interview.
It can happen, but it is very rare for them to reopen a req at a higher grade level. That is a major hassle and runs the very real risk of the new req getting denied. It is possible to also have a demotion as part of a transfer, but that is very uncommon.
The question to ask yourself is why in the world would you want to do that? I've had similar conversations with others who have been asked to take in place demotions. Trust me Cisco is not the be all end all place to work that you want to take a demotion.
Hahaha
You won't get the position until you have the equivalent grade.
Welcome to sysko!
Sysko?
I got impacted too. Came across a one grade lower position. But hiring manager denied taking me at lower grade.
