Anyone else tired of employees who don't want to work, but stomp their feet & call MrHeat if they don't get their way? Or students who don't like the policies, rental, can't use someone else's account, bring their parent in & you have to be polite while they rake you over the coals, & you know the student knows he lied to his parent about you being rude to him. Sigh

Retail was not like this years before. I call it the 'Walmart mentality', customers can be rude to cashiers & be treated rudely right back, can return ANYTHING used, broke, worn etc. it has poured over to all retail. Plus the entitled attitude, gone are the days of accountability, being polite to cashiers, following policies, etc.,
Isn't that the nutshell of retail and not just follett? Lieing customer, abusive corporate, etc...
And factor in that the company does not appreciate what we do and it makes it 100% frustrating all the way around. Likely no raise or bonus this year to make up for this level of stress.
I always wonder these 'young adults' will survive in the real world. Having a hard time at a real job, can't call mommy & have her bully your employer into giving you what you want. Scary to know these 'entitled' children will be ruining the world one day.
Customer service! We always had students like that. Whatever. Save the sale. We always did it, and our store was still closed down. Follett s---s. It's going down. Just a matter of time.
I think that Mr. heat is total BS. Anyone can just call up and say anything about anyone else. How are these people even held accountable? What if the allegation comes back is false? Is that ever investigated? I highly doubt it.
