3 local kmarts here in the chicago burbs....tinley park,new lenox,joliet clsoing their

doors before end of dec. that leaves no stores in the burbs at all practically

we all deserve to be happy and go fishing or plant a garden or be an artist. SHC never knew what talents were at their fingertips and could have saved those stores. SHC cut their own throat.

They are failures in suburbs. People in suburbs have cars and can drive by the Kmart or Sears and go to Target, JCP ,Macy's ,Home Depot etc.

the closings are now in the business press, but sears hasn't posted it on their corporate site or the vendor portal. One business reporter said sears had no comment on yesterday's closings. Something tells me that it isn't over and many more are coming.

Don't know yet. Several people I know have been checking the corporate site and there is nothing posted yet. I only got the figure from our DM when he came in and told us. They might have more and that is why they are not posting it on the corporate site. It has been mentioned on here several times and they know that the business reporters are checking this site too.

About 60 total. Not enough to save them, but cheers to those who will be out of this hell soon. Hopefully the full list will be up tomorrow.
