I came across some numbers I wanted to share from my HR contact.
There will be a total of 746 layoffs in L48, plus 220 from the center groups.
461 people submitted EOI. Of that number only 159 were granted.

I bet a lot of that 746 is in Bartlesville. Watch the rats start jumping ship trying to wrangle transfers!
HRBP Manager sent out an email to all L48 saying that all the field and Houston layoffs would take place the week of the 12th. At least we're all getting out of here fast and don't have to wait until the week of the 19th.
At least we can all look forward to the new iPhone coming out on the 16th!

For Canada, I'd divide the L48 numbers by three.

Imagine the 300 people who made the conscious decision to run away. How motivated do you think they'll be when it all hits the fan and they are told to get back to work? imgine the 300+ people who are being let go to keep these folks who have no desire to be here? Just plain nuts.
