If you had vacation scheduled for next week, and you were on the list, your last day has already happened...true story...check the org chart for missing colleagues...the purge has begun.
They won't. They have had more than enough things to lose face over. Releasing a false date to start the notifications won't be one of them. Nothing to gain from doing that.
Just try to relax. If they notify you next week, it's not the end of the world, only the end of your time at COP. And, eventually, that's not really a bad thing. There are better times ahead.

Well then: if its your name that's picked......... tomorrow is your last day, but remember their not gonna let you vote one way or the other so don't stress over it and just do what they pay you for, things always have a way of working out, you'll see!
