That is the thing we're truly worried about. Yes, VC firms traditionally don't have a vested interest in current staff. I guess it's better to get theough Christmas with a job than without. Who knows, maybe they'll throw us a bone.....or, we could be laid off. Goodness knows.

People are staying with the hope that the new owners have a heart? A venture capital company with a heart???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Venture capitalists acquire companies for one reason - TO MAKE MONEY!!! They aren't going to give a crap about a bunch of employees they know nothing about. Give up on your false hope.

Ok, so not true.. Obviously you have a low opinion of yourself to think that this company offers the best of benefits. They do offer great benefits no one is disagreeing with that. Infact I would be happy here if they didn't mind rape us all the time. This place is up and down like a yoyo. People are staying with the hope the new owners have a heart. You need to treat people like they are humans. People are getting lazy and sloppy there is no excuse for this. We all work together people .. Do your job and have some self respect. It's not fair to the students when you do things half a--. If you can't handle that then walk out now.

I hope $60k, w/5 weeks vaca. has been saving a lot of that $60k, cause it's going to be rough when they are downsized and unemployed for a couple years- or if they are super lucky- they'll wind up with a $40k job and 2 weeks vaca. after 1 year of looking. If you think your belly aching and putting down your employer is not noticed, guess again. and sloppy work is noticed too.

Stop making excuse and quit, little worm. You are part of the problem. You peddle fake diplomas to idiots who are incapable of distinguishing between a university and a vocational college.

I think we are all upset, I am pissed! Many of us are planning exit strategies. Hoping there is a severance, I think many of us will be signing on the line this time. We do have families and bills. Just waiting on the best time to leave. This company has taken advantage of us, by beating the hell out of us mentally. I have never worked for a company with such low morale. It's really heart breaking to know they care so little. I can't be a kool-aid drinker when I have worked for companies that treats people with integrity. Sorry some of you haven't, try it sometime.
