Dell is definitely reaping the benefits of HPE's continual WFRs, from picking up some of the brightest engineers that HPE ejected to HPE's increasing inability to execute and remain competitive.
And since nearly everyone I worked with at HPE has left or been caught up in WFR, I can take satisfaction in watching HPE implode. Although it angers me to know that Meg won't be accountable for her horrific job performance.
It is actually better at another company that you can vet before joining. I left HPE and my pay is greater, I get merit increases and bonuses - that I had not received for 4 YEARS! at HPE. And for you folks being tossed to CSC, my medical benefits are 40% lower than the "Obamacare" that HPE is hawking. And yes I work at Dell now - which is growing and taking significant business from HPE.
Easy. Change Industries. It worked extremely well for me. In other Industries, the IT talent is considered a critical one rather than just disposable.
More like the "the grass is always greener on the other side". HPE has laid off almost as 10x as many employees as Intel, while only having 3x the employees at its largest.
Why are there people on here that so intently want to push this "all tech companies are bad" or "HPE isnt any worse than other companies in the industry " narrative?
Is it naivity or deliberate? If you can't convince employees that HPE is a great place to work, I guess convincing employeee that everywhere else is a worse place to work might be an effective strategy.
