I am very sorry to those who have been forced out.
It isn't your fault if you didn't challenge the system and were placed on a struggling asset, on dog projects, or under a limiting supervisor.
Unfortunately employee productivity is being blamed for the financial struggles, i.e., not successfully executing the plan, rather than dealing with that the plan hasn't been that great.
Otherwise we'd see more managers laid off too (not just old guys retiring). Some hard life lessons to learn.
Hopefully, whether you are in or out, this mess will motivate us to try and influence change and not just fester bitterness.
