Labs is not revenue-generating nor is there any trickle-out to larger HPE....pure vacuum and ivory tower

Managers are required to meet layoff numbers - this is true. They are required to inform HR the month prior to the layoff occurring - usually near the mid to end of month. You will get two weeks notice, but your manager would have known a month prior.

The layoff has been a relief. I'm getting paid to look for the right job in a white-hot Seattle job market. For all the bulls--t we went through with HPE politics backstabbing Helion, this is the best possible ending... getting paid to go away by a company that doesn't want you, only to have companies that want you emailing the moment it hit Geekwire. Goodbye, HPE. Tell me where to send flowers when you finally finish destroying yourself.
