Wow !! Im so elated today. One of my managers told me that I was inline to be considered for promotion as soon as the oil prices went up.
In casual conversation he told me that everybody who was laid off were either useless or good for nothing and hence were laid off.
Anybody, who still was with the company was going to be rewarded soon for their hardwork.

But say what you want about the people that were laid off, there was a lot of dead weight, but almost 75 perscent of the people that in knew, that were laid off, were excellent, knowledgable and new their jobs inside and out. They worked for years in this field and were paid well. They knew more than their mangers.
They were replaced with dip sticks that don't have any experience for half the salary.

And oil prices will go up, but will have nothing to do with anything the we are doing.
