Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Cameron V&M Aftermarket..

Cameron V&M aftermarket EPV may be on the chopping block before the end of the year. Hearing rumors about OkC and Odessa.

Both locations have had to park their trucks and no personal use is allowed. Heard the rumors that V&M is for sale to but business is slowing down for those locations SLB had pushed safety as priority and not customer service both locations are losing customer base.

to the guy that thinks SLB would prefer to bring in $12/hr MacD workers: if only they would. MacD workers are far better than most of SLB's supply chain employees and they make far more than $12/hr.

Not all Cameron employees lost their service trucks. Some surface systems employees are still allowed personal use. Schlumberger will be the worst thing that has ever happened to the valve/midstream business. They have no clue and are not interested in anything but drilling and surface equipment. Plus they view Cameron techs as overpaid help. They would prefer to bring someone in from McDonald's and them $12/hr.

Every Cameron employee lost use of company vehicles. That isn't news.

Obviously upper management is doin anything about it. Doug Isnt putting forth any plans to do anything about it seems. Those who have quit or been let go are not being replaced on the field service side.
